Welcome to Level Devil, where everything can change without warning – and your only goal is to survive the tricky traps in a world full of trolls. This is also a relaxing platform game, simple graphics, bright colors, funny background music…
It sounds simple: you control a 2D platform character, go from left to right, avoid obstacles, jump over holes, dodge spikes, press buttons to open doors.
But Level Devil does not follow the usual rules.
You think the floor is safe? It might collapse.
You see a button? It might be a trap.
You think you are going right? The control buttons are just reversed.
The floor can fall at any time, especially the easy sections.
Every time you think: "Hey, that's easy?", it's almost like you're about to get hit.
There are doors, but not all of them are real.
There are doors behind fake walls - look carefully and try jumping.
The control buttons are reversed
Sometimes when you press right, the character goes left.
Jump up, then... jump down.
Sometimes the forward - backward - jump buttons are all reversed.
Tips: try standing still for a few seconds, or press multiple buttons at the same time to reset the feeling.
Spikes grow after you've passed.
Walls move.
The platform moves up or down after you jump.
Everything happens very quickly, so if you don't get through the level the first time, remember the way the second time.
Someone who played until chapter 15/16 was still fooled at the last minute.
Don't rush to run, there are many parts where you need to stop and time, otherwise you'll run straight into the trap.
Seeing it's easy, then be suspicious.
Seeing the button, then be suspicious.
Seeing the door, doubt.
Looking at everything, half-believing, half-doubting, that way you won't get trolled by the game. Discover more interesting platform games like Parkour Race.
