How to play War of Sticks

Your mission in this game is to exploit resources, build armies and defensive structures, and then attack and destroy enemies.

You will start the game by hiring soldiers to dig for gold to earn money. With the gold you earn, you can upgrade your powerful army to protect the kingdom. And continue to hire more gold-digging soldiers and combat soldiers to build an increasingly powerful kingdom.

When you feel strong enough, you can attack surrounding kingdoms to expand your territory and earn bonuses.

Tips and Tricks

Prioritize upgrading miners first

• As soon as you enter the battle, use the first gold to recruit the maximum miners as soon as possible.
• After having 5–6 miners, upgrade the mining speed to get resources quickly, helping you build towers and buy troops continuously.

Build defensive towers as soon as possible

• Don't wait until the enemy is close to build—build 1–2 towers right from the start to keep the distance and buy time for the miners to work.
• If the enemy is too crowded, prioritize upgrading the tower's damage instead of adding troops right away.

Combine Shielders and Archers to defend firmly

• Shielders stand in the way, taking damage for the archers behind to shoot continuously.
• Don't spam all one type of soldier—they are easily countered by other enemy soldiers.

Use Wizards at the right time

• Wizards have a very strong area attack but low health.
• Deploy when there is a barrier in front, or when you want to quickly destroy a large group of troops.

Upgrade both damage and health evenly

• Damage helps end the fight quickly, and health helps troops stay longer so that the archers/wizards behind can maximize their effectiveness.
• Don't completely abandon any stats because they will be clearly weak in the mid-late game.
