Age of War is a classic tower defense game where players directly confront the computer in a prolonged war spanning across different eras. The objective is simple: destroy the enemy's base before your own. However, to achieve this, players need to strategize effectively, especially at higher difficulty levels.

Age of War Gameplay

Each side has a fixed base at opposite ends of the screen. Players use resources and experience to summon units to attack the enemy. These units automatically advance, engage in combat, and inflict damage on the enemy base if they overcome the defenses.

The game begins in the primitive era with prehistoric units. As players accumulate enough experience, they can upgrade to subsequent eras, unlocking more modern units and weapons. The side that evolves faster and deploys its forces more effectively will have a significant advantage.

Age of War Difficulty and Tactics

At high difficulty, the enemy has a clear advantage in unit strength. Enemy units are stronger, more resilient, and deal more damage than the player's units. Therefore, randomly spamming units is almost ineffective.

The most important tactic is to utilize defensive weapons and special skills. Towers like the egg cannon can deal damage from a distance and help the player eliminate enemy units without giving the enemy experience. This slows down the enemy's upgrade process in the early stages.

Special Skills and Experience Management

Age of War allows players to use special skills such as hail or arrow rain to destroy multiple units at once. These skills are crucial in dangerous situations, especially when the enemy has a large number of units.

Another key factor is experience management. To upgrade the age, players need to accumulate a certain amount of experience. A very effective strategy is to limit the opponent's experience gain by using towers and skills to finish off enemy troops during this process.

Mid and Late Game

After upgrading to the next era, players can sell old buildings and deploy stronger new units, such as archers. At this point, the strategy shifts to maintaining a large number of troops and continuously applying pressure.

It's not necessary to use the strongest units; as long as you have enough troops and maintain a continuous attack rhythm, the opponent will gradually be overwhelmed. Once you control the battlefield, you can accelerate the pace and end the battle in a very short time.

Age of War is a strategy game with simple mechanics but requires clear strategic thinking, especially at high difficulty levels. The game combines resource management, era upgrades, and the judicious use of skills, similar to how Eaglecraft provides a streamlined Minecraft experience while retaining the core spirit of the original game.
