With Dadish, you will be transformed into a... radish. Instead of remaining motionless in a salad bowl, you will embark on a mission to save numerous lost children. It sounds cute, but your journey will not be easy.
The main character—the radish father—has no legs but has the ability to jump and dodge and is literally immortal. While other games limit the number of lives, Dadish lets you die freely. Die continuously. Revive unlimited times.
The control mechanism in the game is extremely simple—just jump and move. But then you will have to face a series of traps that are arranged so sophisticatedly that it will drive you crazy. One minute you are jumping happily, and the next minute you explode because of... flying sausages.
Behind the missed jumps is a whole layer of meaning. The game uses images of fast food and sugary foods—familiar enemies of health—as obstacles. Radish overcomes hot dogs, sandwiches, and soda as a gentle but profound warning to people.
Whenever you encounter a child, the game provides a brief conversation in English. Although simple, it is extremely humorous. Each child has its own personality: one is emotional, one is cruel, and one is indifferent. It makes players laugh—then pause—why do they look like themselves?
Dadish has gentle, adorable pixel graphics, suitable for both children and adults who need a relaxing but not boring game. The sound is pleasant, the level layout is smart, and especially, the game is extremely light and can be played online. If you like online games like this, Fireboy Watergirl is a suggestion.
