Additionally, defensive plants like Wall-nut, Tall-nut, and Pumpkin help block paths or protect important plants. Tactical plants like Magnet-shroom can absorb zombies' metal armor, while Garlic redirects zombies to other lanes, creating opportunities for more effective damage combos.

The zombies in the game are increasingly diverse and dangerous. From Conehead and Buckethead to Football zombies, Balloon zombies, Dolphin zombies, and giant Gargantuar – each type has its own attack method and requires appropriate counter-strategies. In pool levels, players need Lily Pads to plant underwater plants, while on rooftops, Flower Pots are necessary because the sloping terrain affects the shooting trajectory.
