Space Waves is a fast-paced arcade game where you control a small arrow through a space tunnel filled with obstacles, rotating gears, spikes, moving walls, and even enemy ships. It sounds simple, but one wrong tap and you'll have to start over. The game has 33 hand-crafted levels, each marked with an emoji indicating difficulty—from gentle green to red. You can play any level you want, even the hardest, if you're confident.

How to Play Space Waves

Main Objective

• Dodge walls, obstacles, gears, and spikes.
• Shoot down enemy ships.
• Collect power-ups to increase power, slow down time or become temporarily invulnerable.
• Survive to the end of the level or go the farthest in Endless Mode.

Controls

• Left mouse / W key / Space key → fly up
• Release → fall down
• Some levels use the left/right keys to move horizontally.

Get familiar with the wave rhythm of the tunnel

Each level of Space Waves has its own oscillation rhythm: sometimes narrow, sometimes wide, sometimes high, and sometimes low. Play slowly and observe the first 3-4 beats to understand the pattern; this helps you predict the turns accurately and reduce the risk of hitting the wall.

Take advantage of the inertia of falling to avoid obstacles

The arrows in Space Waves exhibit a very smooth falling momentum. Don't try to hold the button to fly continuously, but release it at the right time to take advantage of the falling force to avoid narrow gaps and gears. This is a necessary technique in extremely difficult red screens.

Wait for the right yellow gap before squeezing through the rotating gear

In Space Waves, many gears rotate quickly, but they all have a cycle that reveals a perfect gap. Patiently wait for the right rhythm, instead of trying to squeeze through when the gap is not wide enough. At high levels, just 0.2 seconds off will lose.

Don't shoot when the tunnel is too narrow
