Dashmetry is a speed challenge based on Geometry Dash, where you don't simply play individual levels, but must run through the entire level system within a limited time. Here, the pressure doesn't come from a specific level, but from maintaining consistent performance from start to finish.

The initial feeling might be quite easy, as the early levels aren't too difficult. But the deeper you go, the game gradually reveals its true nature: a race where a single slip of the hand can cause a chain reaction of collapses.

How to play Dashmetry

Start with a countdown timer

As soon as you enter the game, the timer starts ticking. There are no breaks between levels. You complete one level and are immediately pushed to the next. Every action must be quick and precise, with almost no time to think. This makes every pause or hesitation a costly decision.

Controls and Rhythm

The gameplay retains the spirit of Geometry Dash: jumping, dodging obstacles, and timing to the music. But in Dashmetry, you not only need to be precise, but also consistent. A single mistimed click not only kills you, but also disrupts the overall rhythm of the run. Once you lose your rhythm, regaining stability is not easy.

Collecting Coins and Unlocking Levels

During gameplay, you can collect coins to unlock more difficult levels, especially demon levels. However, collecting coins always comes with risks. Some coins are in relatively easy locations, but others require extremely precise timing. Players must consider: collect the coins to pave the way later, or skip them to stay safe and save time.

Chokes and Psychological Pressure

As you progress to more difficult levels, especially those with multiple triple spikes or continuous orb sequences, the game begins to put you in a state of noticeable stress. Dashmetry challenges not only skill but also composure. A moment of panic can cost you precious minutes.

Dashmetry Features

Dashmetry doesn't innovate gameplay by adding new mechanics. Instead, it transforms familiar elements into constant pressure. Having to complete all levels in a single run gives each level its own unique weight.

An interesting point is the game's pacing, which changes dramatically. At times, you fly through levels with incredible smoothness, but even a small mistake can bring everything to a standstill. This contrast creates a feeling of both excitement and tension throughout.

Additionally, the final demon levels serve as a comprehensive test. After exhausting the long journey, you must maintain sufficient focus to overcome the most difficult parts. This is where the game truly reveals its harshness.

Dashmetry isn't a game for relaxing. It's more of a test of endurance than a leisurely stroll. If you're used to playing each level individually, Dashmetry will make you look at the entire experience in a different way. No more trying again for fun; every mistake has a price to pay.

And if that kind of pressure is your thing, Only Up! takes it in a completely different direction, turning every step into a slow climb where one misstep can send you all the way back down.
