Raft Life is an incredibly relaxing survival-building simulation game where you start with just a small wooden raft in the middle of the ocean. From a cramped space, your task is to expand your raft, gather resources, and gradually transform it into a giant floating city, even as large as an island.

How to play Raft Life

The main gameplay revolves around chopping down trees, selling wood to earn money, and using that money to expand your raft. Interestingly, trees grow naturally on the raft for you to harvest. After chopping down all the trees, you need to wait for them to grow back, so upgrading the growth rate and selling price of resources is extremely important. The more you expand, the more new features you unlock, such as fishing, raising ducks for automatic fishing, growing watermelons, carrots, and many other crops.

Each resource has a different value. For example, watermelons are one of the most profitable sources because each harvest can bring in a significant amount of money. Additionally, you can catch crabs, fish for squid, collect bottles, or even unlock food processing areas. When you have enough money, you can hire workers (support characters) to automatically harvest or catch fish, making earning money much faster.

Complete the tasks

The game also has special missions. For example, you have to deliver 100 watermelons or 300 cans of soda to unlock access to a new area. This motivates players to continue expanding and upgrading. During gameplay, sharks will occasionally attack the raft, forcing you to repel them to protect your structures. For players who want a change of pace, GeoGuessr is a great alternative, focusing on observation and geography rather than building and upgrading.

Raft Life isn't overly focused on harsh survival; it's more about building and managing resources. The feeling of evolving from a tiny raft into a vast area with farms, fishing grounds, and a host of new structures is truly satisfying. In short, this is a light, easy-to-play, addictive idle-building game, perfect for long-term entertainment when you want to relax and grind money at sea.
